NickWorks is a one-person design, build, and consulting practice. I take on custom design, fabrication, metalwork, space layout, and contractor setups. Often creating bespoke solutions that don’t exist on the market, or repairing things that others have not been able to repair. I also work in small-business systems, SOPs, technical documentation, AI training and systems integration, CAD, 3D modeling, 3D printing, and process design. Vehicle Undercoating and Rust Protection
Wet film lanolin undercoating, sprayed in my shop. 10+ years experience. Thorough application for your undercarriage, frame, suspension parts, and inside access holes.
Drop-off your vehicle for a half day standard application, full day if rust prep work is needed (extra). I’ll put your vehicle up in the shop, assess it before I start, and check in with you if it needs any rust prep before coating. You also get a set of eyes underneath: I usually take photos or video and note anything worth knowing about, like rust status report, leaks, or missing fasteners.
Strongly recommended for basically any vehicle of any age here in the salt belt. It’s great to see new vehicles protected from the start - an ounce of prevention worth a pound of cure definitely applies with rust development. You can also buy years of life on your workhorses that have already started rusting. Surface rust is no problem - the lanolin oil soaks in and seals out the oxygen required for oxidation to continue. Even in later stages of advanced rust, I’ve seen rust holes effectively paused in place for years just keeping them fully soaked in oil.
